Personal Insurance

      Auto insurance pays for damages, injuries and other losses specifically covered by your policy. Coverages can vary by policy and company.  Read your policy carefully to know exactly what it covers. Pay special attention to the exclusions section, which lists the things your policy doesn’t cover.

      Motorcycles may be covered for custom parts and equipment. Most states require you carry liability insurance. Other kinds of coverage are optional. 

      Recreational vehicle policies cover more than what car insurance covers, primarily because owners keep more personal items, such as outdoor equipment, in large recreational vehicles. Motor homes may have cooking facilities, refrigeration and bathrooms.

      Homeowners insurance protects you from financial losses caused by storms, fire, theft, and other events outlined in your policy. It is important to know what is in your policy. Make sure you read your policy carefully and understand your specific coverages.

      Tenant (or Renters)  insurance protects you in by allowing you to replace your property (furniture, clothes, appliances etc.) if it is destroyed, stolen or damaged. It also covers injuries that happen to other people or their property while in your rental suite (for which you may be held liable). It also covers you additional living expenses if your forced to leave your rental suite because of an insured loss. It also provides coverage for your personal liability if you accidentally cause damage to an adjoining unit.

      Condo (or co-op) insurance safeguards your personal belongings ands the parts of the building you own against most known disasters such as fire, lightning etc.

      Rental Property
      When you rent to others, protecting you rental property is essential. Rental property insurance provides peace of mind against fire, vandalism and other physical losses.

      Mobile Home
      Mobile Home insurance is like regular home insurance in that it protects the structure and the occupant’s personal property from such calamities as fires, natural disasters, and theft. Mobile home insurance typically covers the mobile home and the adjacent structures, such as an attached patio, deck, garage and storage shed.

      Personal Umbrella
      Umbrella insurance is designed to give one added liability protection above and beyond the limits on homeowners, auto and water craft personal insurance policies. With an umbrella policy, depending on the insurance company, one can add an additional 1-5 million in liability coverage.

      Identity Theft
      Coverage for expenses incurred as the result of an identity theft.  Can include costs for notarizing fraud affidavits and certified mail, lost income from time taken off from work to meet with law enforcement personnel or credit agencies, fees for reapplying for loans and attorney’s fees to defend against lawsuits and remove criminal or civil judgments.

      Farm & Ranch
      This is a package policy that provides coverage for farm dwellings and their contents, personal liability, and optional coverages for farm personal property, structures, livestock, and mobile agricultural equipment.
